Today, we’re celebrating Obbey Thaxton — our Construction Health & Safety Specialist — for five years of dedication, consistency, and genuine care for the people he works with.
Obbey first joined CDA as a Safety Professional and quickly became a trusted presence on some of our biggest projects. His steady commitment to making sure everyone goes home safe has made a real and lasting difference for our teams and our clients.
When we asked him about his journey, he shared that one of the biggest areas of growth has been expanding his safety knowledge through the trainings CDA provides each year — and putting that learning to work on the job, day in and day out.
And outside of the hard hat and hi-vis gear, Obbey is known for bringing good energy, optimism, and a well-rounded outlook to every site he steps onto.
