OSHA 10 hr. Construction Outreach Training

Our team of safety professionals, under the supervision of CDA’s Authorized Outreach Instructor for Construction, Alfonso Amador, recently provided two separate 10-hour courses to Precis Engineering. Each course included 3-sessions, one afternoon a week for three weeks and was attended by a total of 60 participants. Special thanks to guest speakers Tom Hubicki and Mike Quinn for their role in delivering this fantastic course.

Check out the feedback below from Josh Capparella, P.E., Principal of Precis Engineering

“As one of our closest CM partners and with a second to none safety program, teaming with CD & Associates (CDA) to provide OSHA 10 training to our staff was an easy decision. Given the limitations imposed by the pandemic, CDA came up with a creative solution to accommodate our large group safely. We were very pleased with the result: our engineers were able to be fully engaged as the CDA team of experts provided interactive, in-person training sessions to our group. This training reinforces the importance of safety as it provides our staff a deeper awareness of the potential hazards while on our customers’ sites.”

Our Commitment

The Q3 Whole Body Health & Safety Challenge proved to be another success! For this challenge, we partnered with Stockings for Soldiers, a non-profit organization based out of Delaware which collects donations and sends holiday stockings to our deployed troops. Our employees and network of professionals graciously collected items on the organization’s shopping lists which were then delivered on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2021. We are also thrilled to share that two local school organizations, Penn Ridge Service Learning Club and Souderton Charter School wrote 250 letters to the troops!

We are so thankful for the opportunity to support our men and women in uniform and look forward to repeating this effort next year!
