CD & Associates is now extending its support to projects in a turnkey capacity within the South West and Mountain West regions, with a keen focus on Texas and Utah. This strategic expansion allows us to provide a more comprehensive platform of support to our valued partners with facilities spanning multiple regions. Additionally, this move positions us to cater to new clients in burgeoning life science markets, where options for technical project delivery may be limited.

Generator Rigging Success

CD & Associates recently completed a successful equipment rigging operation for one of our esteemed pharmaceutical clients. This endeavor involved the precise setting of a 750kW natural gas generator weighing approximately 32,000 lbs. Despite facing logistical challenges near an active substation, our skilled contractors and dedicated Safety support team ensured the task was executed flawlessly.

BIM Modeling for Power Expansion Project

Building Information Modeling (BIM) continues to revolutionize the construction industry, and at CD & Associates, we’re harnessing its power for enhanced project coordination and efficiency. Our ongoing Power Expansion Project is a testament to the benefits of BIM utilization, particularly Navisworks, in facilitating seamless collaboration among stakeholders.

By leveraging BIM, we mitigate errors, conflicts, and delays, ultimately improving project timelines and cost-effectiveness. Our project specifically highlights the importance of BIM coordination in routing medium voltage conduit from the transformer to the new 5kV substation. Celebrating Women in Construction Week

In March, CD & Associates enthusiastically kicked off Women in Construction Week alongside the launch of our company’s rebrand. This annual event, which has empowered women in construction since 1998, resonated deeply with our values of inclusivity and progress.

During the week, we hosted a luncheon and rebranding kickoff event, featuring esteemed panelists Christine Workman, Kristina Humphrey, and Judy Hobson. Their insights highlighted the vital role of women in shaping the future of construction.

Key highlights included engaging panel discussions on mentorship and diversity, with audiences joining both in-person and via live-stream. Additionally, we spotlighted the NAWIC Education Foundation (NEF), urging support for their mission to empower future construction leaders through education.
